TRANSFORMED BODY: a long, green-hued dragon. being an eastern dragon, she has no wings. ------------------------------------------------- LIKES hiryuu, her dragon "personality" flying the sky peace among humans and mutants alike others of her kind, especially eastern dragons DISLIKES fighting the hunters and members of the chosen sometimes western dragons because they tend to be angry and violent coffee having to hide from the bad guys STRENGTHS minor control of wind currents and water her girly looks and innocent nature tend to persuade people easily her persistent nature - it eventually gets her what she wants WEAKNESSES people in need - she has that "gotta help everyone" attitude those who plan on fighting each other - she'll stop what she's doing to go try and prevent it from happening fire - she fears it above mostly everything FEARS losing the ability to turn into a dragon dying SECRETS she believes that her dragon form is a separate entity and that they share the same mind. ------------------------------------------------- PERSONALITY shiori is typically a very nice girl. she hates violence and killing, so she always tries to get in the way of people if she thinks a fight is about to break loose. she loves the fact that she can turn into an eastern dragon, and has come to affectionately call her dragon form "hiryuu." due to the fact that she constantly refers to her "other half" as its own being, a separate "personality" developed for that of her dragon self. she often speaks to it whenever she's trying to decide on what to do, as it talks to her in the form of a feminine voice in her head. "hiryuu" is also a kind spirit who hates violence. ------------------------------------------------- HISTORY shiori was born an only child, daughter of sena and renoku akutomi. she was born and raised on the outskirts of toyko, japan. she had an average childhood, having gone to school when normal children like everyone else. she had a best friend during middle school who went by chikari. the two of them were best friends and even shared their first kiss together when they were thirteen during their last year of middle school. after realizing that their friendship wouldn't go father than just friendship, they left it at that kiss and practically forgot that it ever happened. once high school came along, the two girls sort of went their separate ways -- shiori dated a few guys and chikari did the same. once they were seventeen, they sort of broke it off altogether. however, around that time, there were stories on the news of an outbreak of some "virus" of some sort. shiori wondered about it, wanted to know what it was all about, but didn't quite have the means to get there. and so, she planted the idea in her parents' heads that she wanted to go on vacation to nazo, japan. of course, at first, her parents were skeptical. they didn't understand what was so special about the place, except for what the news told them. but shiori was adamant about going, and so, when shiori turned eighteen a few months later, they went there to celebrate her birthday, if only to show her that the rumors about the strange town weren't true. their vacation would only be a week long, from a saturday to a saturday, and then they would come home. of course, things didn't quite go as planned. shiori met a girl there who offered to take her around the city while her parents stayed put at their hotel. the two of them explored the city for a few hours before shiori thought to ask the girl what she thought of the rumors about the town, since this girl did in fact live there. the girl didn't respond, but instead pushed shiori against the wall and kissed her rather fiercely. lips were bit and sucked on, and very small amounts of blood were shared. after pulling away, the girl replied "i'll let you figure that one out yourself" and then left, leaving shiori confused in an alleyway. upon returning home a week later, shiori was sad to see that she hadn't found any evidence to support the fact there were "monstrosities" running around nazo. three weeks after returning to her home, the virus in her system reacted rather violently, and shiori underwent her first transformation into an eastern dragon. she lost control, mainly out of fear, and ended up destroying her enter house, her parents included. after returning to her human form shortly after, she was so lost as to what to do -- so she fled, back to nazo, in an attempt to figure out what had happened to her. it didn't take long for her to figure out about the mutation virus and what it did to its hosts. she realized that the girl she'd kissed back on her family's vacation probably had been infected and that small amount of blood they'd shared was enough to infect shiori's blood. however, she believed from the beginning that her dragon counterpart was another being that shared the same mind as her, and they just exchanged bodies depending on who was more dominant at the time. in a sense, she developed another "personality" of sorts, but it can't quite be classified as that because she's very much aware of the "other" her. she came to call the dragon within her "hiryuu", and gives control over to her whenever shiori changes into a dragon. shiori has lived in nazo for a year now, barely living out of her apartment by means of working part-time at a small clothing store. ------------------------------------------------ THE PERSON BEHIND THIS WONDERFUL CHARACTER IS GENERALLY CALLED AQUA AND SITS AT TWENTY. SHE LIVES IN THE EASTERN TIMEZONE.
