SECRETS She's a dire wolf ------------------------------------------------- PERSONALITY •the final personality:: Riley is an intellectual person, she loves to expand her intellect, and she enjoys it. Even though she would never admit it. Her mind craves for expansion, she is incredibly self aware,, especially for her age. For as long as she can remember, she has always been like this. She enjoys playing chess, even if it’s against herself- finding herself her best rival of all. She much would rather play chess, or read a book, then watch televison or busy herself with trivial things such as shopping sprees and significant others. Riley is as quick as lightening to see others’ weak points, she will if she feels the need to to have it work in her own advatage, she also isn’t really one to do hard work unless she’s sure it will benefit herself, making herself a be selfish but she isn’t one to judge herself, it’s other’s she good at judging. She is not easily excited, and can react calm in the most chaotic situations, something that most people would freak out, she has the emotional capacity of a rock- she likes to think that anyways, and has done a very good job at convincing herself that. One thing about Riley is she can be trusted with responsibilities, she’s unlike most adults her age, in fact she’s unlike a lot of people. Ordinarily she is very calm, and calculating, demanding respect however if her feelings are able to get aroused, they show a strong temper and can become exceedingly critical. She will speak her mind so fast or react so fast that she is never aware of what she says or does only after she does it. Very few things can put Riley like this, her past and injustice in any way are a quick way for her to do this, or when her friends are threatened in front of her is another way to set the bull free. Riley may not always be right, but she has a strong sense of justice, if she feels something is wrong, she’ll fix it. She believes that the only way to fix something is to do it herself, and when she does this, everyone is wrong, no matter what- it takes time to beat down this stubborn girl, her way is the right way, no matter what the consequences are. She isn’t one to run either, always wanting to take her issues head on, always responsible for her own actions, not even afraid to take the fall from a friend, her loyalty being maybe the best redeeming quality in the woman. Riley is hard to understand, and even harder to speak to, but once past her shell she is loyal to the very end. ------------------------------------------------- HISTORY Riley had been born into a military family, the eldest daughter of three. Her father Hiroshi Kokorinsen, and her mother Emilia Spade, had never properly been married, but the two loved each other very much, despite whatever arguments they would get into, which was a lot. Riley was there first child, her mother had wanted a son so badly, that she didn’t even think that she could have a daughter, and had already named the boy, well had her mind set on the name. Riley. Her mother was greatly disappointed when Riley came out to be a girl, however Emilia still named the girl, Riley. Riley was hardly noticed by her mother or father as a girl, and her father expected her to be able to do anything he could. He place her into self defense classes when she was old enough. She became very competitve with her rivals,m being the only girl in the class. She didn’t like to be down the easy road. Her parents went to every one of her classes with her, to watch and be proud of her. However when Emilia told the family she was pregnant when Riley was only ten, the girl had grown excited, but had a bad way of showing it. She got into a lot of fights at school, but as soon as her baby brother was born, she changed, only slightly. Her parents had been proud to have a baby boy, and in all honesty now that they had a son, Riley was old news. The son was named Hitori, and Riley despite being thrown to the side, also dedicated herself to her little brother, and still went to her self defense classes. Around this time, her father had been called to duty, for reasons he wouldn’t state, and left her to “hold down” the house until he got back. Emilia so in love with her Hitori didn’t even notice Riley, no matter how hard the child tried, she got straight a’s and had stayed out of trouble, yet Emilia didn’t even take a single glance towards the child. ~Virus~ Riley grew up fast and by the time she was thirteen her brother had been sick, a lot of people had been getting sick actually. She didn’t know why, but she wasn’t. She went to school she even managed to get a rival Kohan Nagarou, he had constantly bullied her, the two were always fighting over pretty much nothing, Kohan’s parents just shoved it off as that he liked the girl, while Emilia showed no interest in Riley as normal. Years would pass by and Riley’s father wouldn’t return until her sixteenth birthday, and he was upset at all the fighting she had gotten into with this “coward” in his words, Kohan. Riley was constantly yelled at by her father, she was a bad influence on Hitori if she would continue the fighting, she however loved her little brother- he had been the only one in the family that treated her as if she was some one, not just a failed attempt at a child, of course Hitori didn’t know what to think, but around this time rumors of monsters entered the culture. It terrified Hitori her however, rumors were just rumors.. right? Kohan had shifted his fighting to adore his normal Rival. Claiming that he’d have enough power for Riley to notice him. Riley had always beaten him in fighting, she never took his word on it. She graduated highschool with Kohan’s class, having skipped a grade during her father’s disappearance, she had been one of the youngest in the class, there had been no graduation party- not that Riley expected it, Emilia was too hyped over her newest preganacy- but Riley would never expect what she saw, because when she got to her house, it had been a blood bath. Her mother had been on the floor, her stomach ripped open, blood had been everywhere- which caused Riley to puke on the floor. She would hear gun shots then her brother screaming, without a thought she ran towards the cries of terrors. When she walked into the room, she saw her father, what was left of him his arm had been ripped off and a gun still clenched, in her father’s corpse of a hand, her brother dead under neath a great silver wolf like beast. Had the rumors been truths? Riley couldn’t stand there, grabbing her father’s gun she shot at the wolf, her aim wasn’t horrible, she managed to have the bullet hit the side of the beast’s chest. That was a bad idea, the wolf would calmly jump off the corpse of her brother, and she continued to shoot, before she knew it the wolf was on top of it. It stared her down, it’s aura had been something she had felt before. It was painful, and slow- as if the beast wanted to have her suffer. Digging it’s claws deep into her flesh, her arms, her body. She thought she’d see her family, and eventually- she just felt darkness. When she awoke she was bandaged, but still very weak and in an alley way now just behind her house. Standing in front of her with his pride, Kohan, he had been bleeding from the side of his chest, where she had shot the wolf beast, and blood around his mouth and hands. He chuckled and too this very day she can remember his words. “Am I good enough for you to notice now?” she tried to fight him, her family he taken them.. she didn’t know how, but before she could say anything he had wiped his blood all over his hands mixing it with her families own, before walking to her. He had rubbed the blood against her mouth, and forced her to swallow the blood. She didn’t know why but she did not like this, but she didn’t have much to say as she passed out. When she awoke she was in the hospital room, she was under question for her familie’s murder. She didn’t do it, but who would believe her, that night she left the hospital, and a month would pass and she had looked into what had happened that night, her family’s case turning into a cold case. Kohan had left town, and rumor was he had fled too a place called Nazo. She didn’t know why, but she figured out a lot within that month, she had taught herself how to shoot, and she was good at it- perhaps it had been her father’s blood in her,she found out a lot from a local hunter, well he had been retired after something happened to his family. The man’s name was Reno, and she hadn’t told him the full story because, she knew what would happen to her at the end of this month, the day before the month was over she could feel the change in her body, placing the gun to her head- only one person stopped her. Reno, he had told her that if she killed herself her family would have been killed in vain, and she would never be able to avenge them. However she didn’t tell Reno why she was going to kill herself, the next day the transformation took over. When she awoke from it she found herself covered in blood, Reno had stopped her from going into town- but only for his own life. She could remember everything now, and before she could do anything- she took the rest of his money and his weapons before fleeing to Nazo, that was two years ago today. Riley had taken up the job as a hunter for hire, but had been searching for Kohan, she’d avenge her family. She does have more control in her dire wolf form, however at the scent of blood she can go wild if she doesn’t have enough self control. She doesn’t change often though, she likes to keep it a secrete, in fear what would happen to herself if she came out as a dire wolf.
