OMGYAYFIRSTCHARACTERPLOTTYTHINGYAY! -cough- sorry :3 i very much enjoy rio (and don't worry, i have a hard time staying out of canon with mine too xD) and i would like him and zen to communicate in some way. i honestly love yaoi couples so i wouldn't be surprised if zen started liking him after they were friends for a bit. obviously, its going to take a little while for the trust factor to set in there, but you know :3 and i think zen would like rio because they are very close in species, as well, so rio had a similar first transformation. so yeah, FRIENDS AND THEN MAYBE CRUSH/WHATEVER.

XD i do like the idea of them being friends though. being nearly similar species i think chances of him warming up to him would be a bit easier since he probably has a better idea of what he's going through and they'd be able to relate more. not to mention, zen seems pretty quiet so ryo would appreciate the calmer company if he had to have one. and maybe he'll keep ryo from being too much of an idiot and getting himself killed XD

uhm yeah i can see them being pretty big rivals. and ryo will definitely try to piss him off too if kyori started it lol granted he might be a little angry if he found out he was doing it just for fun and even worse if he started acting like he were a friend. but after a while i could see the mutual respect going on. he just wouldn't admit it still and would keep insulting him and everything every time they ran into each other, especially if people were around to witness them actually getting along a bit.
as for the gang thing, i'm honestly not too sure how he'd react to figuring that out either. i think he honestly wouldn't be able to care less about the fact. as long as his gang members didn't give him any trouble (actually i think it would be funny if he ended up fighting them occasionally and drag them back to him. he'd be like "i believe these belong to you?" |D i'm a dork) and he didn't get in trouble with the law for knowing him.
